Senior Sessions with Amare Clara Photography

My hope is to make the process of senior photos as fun and easy as possible – for seniors and their parents. Part of that includes making sure you know exactly what to expect in regards to the process, as well as pricing and what is included in my senior session packages. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to ask!

Making Your Senior Photos Happen

When you contact me, whether by phone or email, we will discuss the type of senior pictures you are looking for. I’ll want to make sure you have seen examples of my work, and that it reflects the type of images you want. We will go over what is included in my session packages, so you will know exactly what you will be getting. We will talk about what my sessions look like, as well as what the photo choosing and post-session process will involve.

Once you decide that ACP is right for you, we will discuss availability, the non-refundable deposit to secure your session date and time, and the session agreement that will need to be signed.

Next, I like to have a planning meeting. Whether on the phone, via video chat, or even at a coffee shop, this meeting between me, a parent/guardian, and the senior allows us to plan the location, discuss outfits and potential props, answer questions, and be photoshoot-ready.

Sessions can take anywhere from 1 – 2 hours, depending on the number of outfit changes and if we go to more than one location. Within a week of your session, you will receive access to a gallery in which you get to choose the photos for me to edit. 3 weeks after you make your choices, you will have your images!

Your $200 non-refundable deposit to secure your session date and time is applied to the total cost. After paying your deposit, the remaining $500 will be due on the day of the session.

Amare Clara Photography does not charge for a separate session fee. This is included in the package cost. Because of this, I do not offer “mini” or partial sessions.

Additional edited images are available for purchase at $40/photo.

I do not include prints as part of my session package, instead giving you printing rights so you may print as many as you want, wherever you want, for gifts, announcements, or wall art. However, if you would like to print through me, please visit my prints page.

F.A.Q.

“Can I have multiple outfit changes?”

Of course! I want your gallery to reflect all the different sides of you, and encourage my clients to bring multiple changes of outfits to help create a diverse gallery. Some photographers charge extra for this, but I do not!

“Do you charge extra to edit blemishes?”

No – edits are included! I work hard to ensure a natural but not over-done final look to your photos. Please feel free to talk to me about any concerns or requests.

“Can I have any of the unedited images?”

Unfortunately, I do not give out my unedited work. I take pride in the photos I capture, along with my editing abilities, to create a beautiful piece of art. Unedited, or RAW, images are, in my opinion, incomplete and I will never give my clients anything but what I feel is the best work I can produce.

“Can I bring my pet to the photoshoot?”

Absolutely! So long as you feel your pet will be safe/comfortable in the location we have chosen, I would love for your pet to be included in the photoshoot.

“What Should I Bring to the Session?”

Besides outfit changes, some other important things to bring include: a comfortable pair of shoes (if ones you are planning to wear in the photos are not ideal for walking), a hair brush, water bottle, and any props you may want to include (such as books or an instrument). I also recommend making sure you have eaten before the session so you won’t be hungry, and bringing snacks if we have planned a longer session. We will discuss this more when planning your session.

“Can We Go to More Than One Location?”

Yes! I love capturing a variety of locations in your session, and encourage you to choose at least one nature and one urban location to truly make a diverse selection when choosing your photos. While I am fine with multiple locations, the amount and specific places we choose will need to be a reasonable distance from one another. Thankfully I have SO MANY beautiful options for you to choose from if you do not already have somewhere in mind.
